Sports Bio Julia Masias recently graduated from Eastlake High School located in Chula Vista, California.
She was a three year varsity athlete in lacrosse where she started out as a defender and then moved to a midfielder, where they could use her speed and defensive skills, especially transition defense.
Back in September 2014, Julia founded the Chula Vista Sting Lacrosse Club, now Sting Lacrosse. Her goal was to provide opportunities for girls, ages 10 – 18, to learn the game and to excel at playing lacrosse. Sting Lacrosse now has four teams, including a team for boys, ages 14 – 18.
